The second and last weekend of the 53rd Thessaloniki International Film Festival has started and blessed us with beautiful weather. The closing and award ceremony is held at the Olympion venue at 9 p.m. tonight, followed by the screening of the film “Da-reun na-ra-e-suh”. He was born on the 27th April 1935 and lived for approximately 77 years. During this time he saw the world differently from everybody else. The internationally well-recognised director Theo Angelopoulos drew his last breath on the 24th January 2012.
